We are Recovered addicts that know first hand the devastation that comes along with addiction, so we decided to start a ministry that aims straight at the hearts of others that are addicted to whatever it may be for them. And by the grace of God and His help, we help people gain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and with that they begin to recover and their lives are changed. We shine light into the darkness for the lost, addicted and afflicted.
We started Be The Example Ministry December 10th 2013. We started very simple by just making horseshoe nail cross necklaces for another ministry & we were tossing up ideas for the logo we were going to put on our packaging and decided from there that we wanted to be more incolved with the community moreover the less fortunate community so we started making up backpacks with emergency suppies in them for people in need and now I am in it full time, committed to helping anyone in need. We do fundraisers in our county to help fund our food bags that we hand out and we take donations for clothing, blankets etc.. But we are dedicated to helping the lost, addicted and afflicted.
This is Billy with a man named mark that is living under the bridge in Knoxville, His friend that was sleeping beside him passed away in his sleep this past Tuesday morning, I just ask that you pray for this man to give his life to God and find him a home. He says he is a retired disabled veteran so lts send up some special prayers for him. But this is what our ministry is about. We help the lost, the hungry and lonely. We took him some food and a warm blanket. Plase humble yourselves before God and help make a difference, if all you can do is pray, then pray your hearts out!
